Early Arts PLAYTIME

Early Arts offers gentle, play‑based enrichment in cozy semi‑private groups of up to five children, with occasional flexibility when a caregiver is present. Age ranges serve as general guides, and enrollment is always based on each child’s comfort and readiness. Creative Afterschool Playtime supports young school‑age children — and also welcomes children not yet in school who benefit from a soft, low‑pressure introduction to small‑group play. Mommy & Me Playtime is designed for toddlers, preschoolers, and children who feel most comfortable with a trusted adult nearby, offering warm shared exploration, early creativity, and family connection.

COMMUNITY VOICES

If I was able to give a higher review I would! Ms. Sonja taught me some of my most valuable skills, from the basics of the English language, to some of the most important lessons I still keep with me years later. She is an incredible and caring teacher who wishes nothing but the best for the kids. My love and passion for art started at such and early age, and grew because of the strong program. The bond we formed over the years is unmatched by anyone else and I wouldn’t trade my 11 years at Early Arts for anything else!

Since 2008, Early Arts has had the joy of learning, creating, and growing with little humans from Elmwood Park and nearby Bergen and Passaic County communities, including Clifton, East Rutherford, Fair Lawn, Garfield, Hackensack, Hawthorne, Little Falls, Little Ferry, Lodi, Paramus, Paterson, Ridgewood, Saddle Brook, and Wallington.
Our families reflect the rich diversity of these communities; no matter where a family comes from or what language they speak at home, every child at Early Arts is welcomed, celebrated, and supported.
